Just got the news and the news ain't good. Abby Wambach broke her leg in the US Women's last friendly before Beijing playing against Brazil. The US won 1-0 on a Tasha Kai goal but who cares!
I hate seeing the Queen miss these games. Friendlies are the devil.
Abby broke the tibia and fibula and will have surgery on today. They are talking about a 12 week layup but we shall see. She's a tough one so I'm sure she'll come through all right.
